This article explains how to switch between different sitting areas (rooms) in the Fleksa POS while using the Dine-In layout.
Before you begin, ensure:
You have access to Fleksa POS on Windows, Tablet, or Android
A Dine-In layout with multiple rooms/areas is already created
You are using an updated version of the POS app
Open the Fleksa POS application on your Windows device, tablet, or Android device.
Navigate to the Dine-In section from the main menu.
At the top-left corner, you will see the current area name (e.g., “Main Hall”, “Terrace”).
Click on the area name.
A dropdown menu will appear showing all available room areas.
Select the room/area you want to switch to.
Your Dine-In layout will now display the tables of the selected room.
Issue: The dropdown does not open.
Solution: Restart the POS app or check your internet connection.
Issue: A room area is missing from the list.
Solution: Ensure the room was created in the table layout settings.
Use clear room names (e.g., “Hall A”, “Patio”, “Basement”).
Switch areas before assigning tables to avoid customer seating mistakes.
