This article explains how to delete an existing room/area from the table layout in the Fleksa POS.
Before you begin, ensure:
You have access to Fleksa POS (Windows / Tablet / Android)
You are logged in with Admin or Manager permissions
The room you want to delete is not currently in use
Your POS app is up to date
Open the Fleksa POS application on your Windows device, tablet, or Android device.
From the main menu, select Dine-In.
On the top-right corner, click the pen (edit) icon to enter the layout edit mode.
At the top-left corner, click on the current area name.
A dropdown menu will appear.
Select the room area you want to delete.
Once the room is opened, look for the delete (trash/bin) icon or three-dot menu in the edit mode.
Click Delete Room.
Confirm the deletion when prompted.
Note: Deleting a room will remove all tables inside that room.
Click Save to apply your changes.
The deleted room will no longer appear in the Dine-In layout.
Issue: The delete option is not visible.
Solution: Ensure you are in edit mode and have Admin/Manager permissions.
Issue: Room cannot be deleted because tables are active.
Solution: Close any active orders on tables in that room before attempting deletion.
Double-check before deleting a room, as all tables inside it will be removed.
Rename unused rooms instead of deleting them if you may need them again.
Keep your layout clean to avoid confusion for staff.
Q: Can I recover a deleted room?
No, once deleted, a room cannot be recovered. You must create it again manually.
Q: Does deleting a room affect past orders?
No, completed past orders are not affected.
