This article explains how to select a table, add items, and place a dine-in order in the Fleksa POS.
Before placing a dine-in order, ensure:
You are using Fleksa POS on Windows / Tablet / Android
Your Dine-In layout is already created
You have the correct permissions (Cashier / Manager / Admin)
The Fleksa POS app is updated
Open the Fleksa POS application on your Windows PC, tablet, or Android device.
From the main menu, click Dine-In to display your table layout.
Click on the table where the customer is seated.
Once selected, the system will open the order screen for that table.
Browse menu categories (Starters, Drinks, Mains, etc.).
Click an item to add it to the order.
Add modifiers or change quantities as needed.
In the Order Summary, you will see:
All added items
Quantities
Modifiers
Total amount
You can remove or adjust items before submitting.
You have the following options:
Send to Kitchen → Sends items directly to the kitchen display/printer
Print Bill → Prints the customer's bill immediately from the POS
Note: “Print Bill” replaces the earlier Save/Hold process.
If the customer wants more items:
Reopen the same table
Add the items
Send them to the kitchen again or print an updated bill
When the customer is ready to pay:
Click the same table
Tap Checkout
Select payment method (Cash, Card, QR, etc.)
Complete the billing process
Issue: Unable to select a table.
Solution: Another user may be editing it. Refresh the page.
Issue: Items don’t print in kitchen.
Solution: Check printer/KDS connection or resend the order.
Issue: Menu not loading.
Solution: Restart the POS or check the internet connection.
Always confirm the customer’s table number before adding items.
Use modifiers to avoid kitchen confusion.
Print the bill only after customers request it.
Keep the table layout clean and organized.
Q: Can I transfer the order to another table?
Yes, use the Transfer Table option.
Q: Can staff take orders from different devices simultaneously?
Yes, Fleksa POS supports multi-device order taking.
Q: Can I print multiple bills?
Yes, you can print as many times as needed.
