This article explains how to create a table reservation directly in Fleksa POS, including selecting date, time, customer details, and assigning a table.
Before creating a reservation, ensure:
You are using Fleksa POS on Windows / Tablet / Android
Your Dine-In table layout is created
You have Cashier / Manager / Admin access
POS is synced and updated
Open the Fleksa POS app on your Windows PC, Tablet, or Android device.
On the POS home screen, click Reservation.
(Some versions may show “Table Reservation” or “Bookings”)
Click on + Add Reservation to start a new booking.
Fill in the reservation information:
Customer Name
Phone Number
Number of Guests
Choose:
Reservation Date
Reservation Time
Select the table from your dine-in layout.
The system will show available tables based on the selected time.
You can add special instructions such as:
“Birthday setup”
“High chair needed”
“Allergic to nuts”
Click Save or Create Reservation.
The reservation is now added to your reservation list.
Once saved:
The reservation appears in your Reservation List.
The table is blocked for that time slot.
Staff can see upcoming reservations from the Reservation page.
Open the reservation → click Edit → update details.
Open the reservation → click Cancel Reservation.
View all bookings in the Reservation list sorted by date and time.
Issue: No tables appear when selecting a reservation time.
Solution: Table may already be booked — choose another time or table.
Issue: Reservation can't be saved.
Solution: Ensure all required fields (name, phone, guests, time) are filled.
Issue: Reservation does not show on POS.
Solution: Sync POS using Settings → Sync.
Always confirm contact number for last-minute changes.
Use notes for special requests to avoid miscommunication.
Check the reservation list before peak hours.
Make sure tables are marked correctly as free or booked.
Q: Can I assign multiple tables to one reservation?
No — only one table per reservation.
Q: Can I create recurring reservations?
Not currently — reservations are created individually.
Q: Can I create a reservation without assigning a table?
Yes — but assigning a table is recommended to prevent double-booking.
