How to Create a Reservation in Fleksa POS ?

Prerequisites

Before creating a reservation, ensure:

  • You are using Fleksa POS on Windows / Tablet / Android

  • Your Dine-In table layout is created

  • You have Cashier / Manager / Admin access

  • POS is synced and updated


Steps to Create a Reservation in Fleksa POS

Step 1: Open Fleksa POS

Open the Fleksa POS app on your Windows PC, Tablet, or Android device.

Step 2: Go to the “Reservation” Page

  • On the POS home screen, click Reservation.
    (Some versions may show “Table Reservation” or “Bookings”)

Step 3: Click “Add Reservation”

  • Click on + Add Reservation to start a new booking.

Step 4: Enter Customer Details

Fill in the reservation information:

  • Customer Name

  • Phone Number

  • Number of Guests

Step 5: Select Date & Time

Choose:

  • Reservation Date

  • Reservation Time

Step 6: Assign a Table

  • Select the table from your dine-in layout.

  • The system will show available tables based on the selected time.

Step 7: Add Notes (Optional)

You can add special instructions such as:

  • “Birthday setup”

  • “High chair needed”

  • “Allergic to nuts”

Step 8: Save the Reservation

  • Click Save or Create Reservation.

  • The reservation is now added to your reservation list.


What Happens After Saving?

Once saved:

  • The reservation appears in your Reservation List.

  • The table is blocked for that time slot.

  • Staff can see upcoming reservations from the Reservation page.


Common Actions

Edit a Reservation

  • Open the reservation → click Edit → update details.

Cancel a Reservation

  • Open the reservation → click Cancel Reservation.

Check Upcoming Reservations

  • View all bookings in the Reservation list sorted by date and time.


Common Issues & Solutions

Issue: No tables appear when selecting a reservation time.
Solution: Table may already be booked — choose another time or table.

Issue: Reservation can't be saved.
Solution: Ensure all required fields (name, phone, guests, time) are filled.

Issue: Reservation does not show on POS.
Solution: Sync POS using Settings → Sync.
