This article explains how to edit or cancel an existing table reservation in Fleksa POS.
Open Fleksa POS on your Windows PC, tablet, or Android device.
On the POS home screen, click Reservation.
Find the reservation in the list (sorted by date & time).
Click on the reservation to open the details.
Inside the reservation details page:
Click Edit or Edit Reservation.
You can change:
Customer name
Phone
Guest count
Date & time
Duration
Table selection
Customer preferences
Comments
Make the necessary changes.
Click Save or Update Reservation.
The reservation will be updated instantly.
Open the POS application.
Click Reservation.
Choose the reservation from the list.
Inside the reservation details:
Click Cancel or Cancel Reservation.
A confirmation popup will appear.
Click Yes / Confirm to cancel.
The reservation will now be removed or marked as canceled depending on system settings.
Issue: Cannot find the reservation.
Solution: Check the date filter or refresh the reservation list.
Issue: Cannot edit certain fields.
Solution: Some fields may be locked after the reservation time starts.
Issue: Table not available when editing time.
Solution: Choose another available table or adjust the time.
Double-check changes before saving to avoid confusion.
Always confirm phone number and guest count if editing a reservation.
Add comments for special requests to improve service quality.
If a customer cancels, update the reservation immediately to free the table.
Q: Can I restore a canceled reservation?
No — the customer must create a new reservation.
Q: Can I edit a reservation after the time has passed?
No — past reservations cannot be edited.
Q: Will the table be freed automatically after cancellation?
Yes — once canceled, the table becomes available again.
