This article explains how to view and accept live online orders that customers place through your restaurant’s website and how they appear in Fleksa POS.
Before accepting live orders, ensure:
Your restaurant’s online ordering system is active
Fleksa POS is logged in (Windows / Tablet / Android)
Your internet connection is stable
Online ordering is enabled in the Fleksa dashboard
Open the Fleksa POS app on your Windows PC, tablet, or Android device.
On the POS home screen, click Live Orders.
This section displays all real-time incoming orders from your website.
When a customer places an order through your website:
A notification sound or popup will appear in POS
The order will show under New Orders with:
Customer name
Order type (Delivery / Pickup)
Items ordered
Total amount
Payment status (Paid online / Pay at pickup/delivery)
Tap the order to open full details
Review:
Items
Modifiers
Notes (e.g., “No onion”, “Extra spicy”)
Delivery or pickup time
Click Accept Order.
Once accepted:
The order is sent to the kitchen (KDS/printer)
The customer receives a confirmation
The order status changes to Accepted / In Progress
You can print:
Kitchen Receipt
Customer Receipt
Depending on order type:
Prepare the food
Mark as Ready for Pickup
Complete payment (if not paid online)
Mark order as Completed
Prepare the food
Assign to driver or delivery staff
Change status to Out for Delivery
After delivery, mark as Completed
Issue: Live orders are not appearing.
Solution:
Check internet connection
Click Refresh on Live Orders page
Ensure online ordering is active in the dashboard
Issue: Cannot accept the order.
Solution:
Restart POS
Sync POS
Make sure the order is not already accepted on another device
Issue: Kitchen did not receive the order.
Solution:
Check KDS or kitchen printer connection
Resend kitchen print from order details
Keep the Live Orders screen open during service hours
Enable sound notifications so staff never miss an order
Double-check notes and modifiers before accepting
If the order is prepaid, no need to charge again at POS
Mark orders as Completed to keep the workflow clean
Q: Do website orders appear immediately in POS?
Yes — live orders appear instantly in POS as long as internet is active.
Q: Can I reject an order?
Yes — use the Reject Order option and provide a reason.
Q: Do online payments sync with POS?
Yes — prepaid orders show as Paid Online automatically.
Q: Can I edit a live order before accepting?
No. You must accept first, then adjust if needed.
