This article explains how to open Fleksa POS for the day by entering and confirming your daily opening cash balance.
Prerequisites
Before opening Fleksa POS day-wise:
You are logged into Fleksa POS on Windows / Tablet / Android
You have Cashier / Manager / Admin rights
Your device has an internet connection
Steps to Open Fleksa POS Day-Wise
Step 1: Open Fleksa POS
Open the Fleksa POS application on your Windows PC, tablet, or Android device.
Step 2: Click on the Opening Balance Icon
On the POS home screen, look at the top right corner.
Click on the Opening Balance icon.
Step 3: Enter Your Opening Balance
A popup will appear showing Opening Balance.
Enter the amount of cash available in your cash drawer at the start of the day.
Step 4: Confirm the Balance
Click Confirm Balance to proceed.
Once confirmed, your POS for the day is officially opened.
You can now begin taking orders (Dine-In, Pickup, Delivery).
Common Issues & Solutions
Issue: Opening Balance icon is not visible.
Solution: You may need Manager/Admin permission.
Issue: Cannot proceed without entering balance.
Solution: Enter any valid number (e.g., 0 if starting with no cash).
Tips
Always count your cash drawer before entering the balance.
Opening Balance helps track end-of-day cash differences accurately.
Use closing balance at the end of the day for reports.
