How to Close Delivery and Pickup Orders in Fleksa POS ?

Prerequisites

Before closing Delivery or Pickup orders, ensure:

  • You are logged into Fleksa POS on Windows / Tablet / Android

  • You have Manager or Admin permissions

  • Your POS app is updated


Steps to Close Delivery and Pickup Orders in Fleksa POS

Step 1: Open Fleksa POS

Open the Fleksa POS application on your Windows device, tablet, or Android device.

Step 2: Click on the Settings Icon

  • On the top navbar, click the Settings (⚙️) icon.

Step 3: Open “Device Configuration”

  • In the settings menu, select Device Configuration.

Step 4: Locate Order Type Settings

Inside Device Configuration, you will see the following toggles:

  • Enable Dine-In Orders

  • Enable Pickup Orders

  • Enable Delivery Orders

  • Request Pickup and Delivery Confirmation

  • Automatic Confirmation for Online Orders

  • Language Selection

  • Time Format (24 hours / 12 hours)

Step 5: Turn Off Pickup Orders

To close Pickup orders:

  • Switch Enable Pickup OrdersOFF

Pickup orders will immediately stop appearing and customers cannot place new pickup orders online.

Step 6: Turn Off Delivery Orders

To close Delivery orders:

  • Switch Enable Delivery OrdersOFF

Delivery orders will be disabled and hidden from the POS.


What Happens After You Disable These Orders?

  • Customers cannot place delivery or pickup orders on your website.

  • Live Orders for pickup/delivery will no longer appear.

  • Only the order types you leave enabled (e.g., Dine-In) will be available.


Common Issues & Solutions

Issue: Toggle won’t turn off.
Solution: You may not have permission — contact an Admin.

Issue: Online orders still coming in.
Solution: Refresh POS or restart the app after changing settings.

  • Turn off Pickup/Delivery when the restaurant is too busy, closed early, or driver unavailable.

  • Re-enable Pickup/Delivery using the same switches anytime.
