This article explains how to create and process pickup (takeaway) orders in the Fleksa POS.
Prerequisites
Before placing a pickup order, ensure:
You are using Fleksa POS on Windows / Tablet / Android
You have Cashier / Manager / Admin permissions
Your menu is synced and updated
Steps to Place a Pickup Order
Step 1: Open Fleksa POS
Open the Fleksa POS application on your Windows PC, tablet, or Android device.
Step 2: Go to the Pickup Section
On the main POS screen, select Pickup (sometimes labeled as Takeaway).
Step 3: Start a New Pickup Order
Click on New Order or the + (plus) button to start a new pickup order.
Step 4: Add Customer Details (Optional)
You may enter:
Customer name
Phone number
Step 5: Add Items to the Order
Browse food categories (Drinks, Starters, Mains, etc.).
Click an item to add it to the order.
Add modifiers or adjust the quantity if required.
Step 6: Review the Order
In the order summary, verify:
Correct items
Correct quantity
Correct total amount
Make edits if needed.
Step 7: Send Order to Kitchen
Click Send to Kitchen so the kitchen receives the pickup order instantly.
Step 8: Print Pickup Ticket (Optional)
You can print:
Kitchen receipt
Pickup receipt for packaging
Step 9: Proceed to Checkout
When the customer pays (either at booking or at pickup):
Click Checkout
Step 10: Choose Payment Method
Payment options include:
Cash
Card
QR Payment
Gift card
Step 11: Complete the Payment
Confirm the payment
The order is now marked as Ready for Pickup or Completed, depending on workflow

Issue: Pickup button not visible.
Solution: Update POS app; refresh home screen.
Issue: Items not appearing in kitchen.
Solution: Check kitchen printer/KDS connection.
