Prerequisites

Before you begin, ensure:

  • You are using Fleksa POS on Windows / Tablet / Android

  • Products are already created with correct SKU numbers

  • You have Cashier / Manager / Admin permissions

  • Your POS app is updated


Steps to Solve

Step 1: Open Fleksa POS

Open the Fleksa POS app on your Windows PC, tablet, or Android device.

Step 2: Select an Order Type

You can access the search function after choosing any order type:

  • Dine-In

  • Takeaway

  • Delivery

Step 3: Click on the Search Button

  • On the top area of the menu/order screen, click on the Search Bar.

Step 4: Search by SKU Number or Product Name

Option A: Search by SKU Number

  • Type the exact SKU number assigned to the product.

  • Matching items will appear instantly.

Option B: Search by Product Name

  • Type the full or partial product name
    (e.g., “Pizza”, “Coke”, “Burger”).

Step 5: Add the Product to the Cart

  • Click on the product from the search results.

  • It will be added to the cart immediately.

  • If the product has modifiers, a modifier popup will appear.

Step 6: Adjust Quantity (Optional)

  • You can increase/decrease quantity directly in the cart.

  • You may also remove or modify the product if needed.

Solution: Check if the product is active and properly assigned to a category and SKU.

Issue: SKU search is not responding.
Solution: Verify the SKU is correctly saved in the product setup.
