How to Move Tables in the Layout in Fleksa POS?

This article explains how to move and reposition tables within the Dine-In layout in the Fleksa POS system.


Prerequisites

Before you begin, ensure:

  • You are using Fleksa POS on Windows / Tablet / Android

  • You have Admin or Manager permissions

  • A Dine-In layout with tables already exists

  • POS app is updated


Steps to Solve

Step 1: Open Fleksa POS

Open the Fleksa POS application on your Windows PC, tablet, or Android device.

Step 2: Go to the Dine-In Page

Navigate to the Dine-In page from the main menu.

Step 3: Enter Edit Mode

  • Click the pen (edit) icon in the top-right corner to enable layout editing.

Step 4: Move a Table

  1. In edit mode, click on the Move icon
    → It is located on the right side, the second icon below the delete (trash) icon.

  2. After clicking the Move icon, select the table you want to move.

  3. Hold and drag the table to the new position on the layout.

  4. Release the table once it is placed correctly.

You can repeat this process for multiple tables.

Step 5: Save the Layout

  • Click Save to store your new table arrangement.

  • The updated layout will now appear in your Dine-In view.


Common Issues & Solutions

Issue: I cannot move tables.
Solution: Ensure you clicked the Move icon and are in edit mode.

Issue: Tables return to the old position after moving.
Solution: Make sure you click Save after rearranging tables.

Issue: A table cannot be selected.
Solution: Check if the table has an open order—active tables may be locked.
