Order Status Updates

Meaning

Received

Order placed, payment confirmed

Confirmed

Restaurant accepted the order

Real-Time Updates

  • Status updates automatically

  • No need to refresh

  • Push notifications (if enabled)

  • SMS updates for pickup/delivery

Viewing Your Order

Step 1: After payment, order tracking screen appears

Step 2: View current status

Step 3: See estimated time

Step 4: Track progress as it updates

Tracking Screen Shows

  • Order number/kitchen number

  • Current status with progress

  • Estimated completion time

  • Items ordered

  • Table number (dine-in)

  • Contact options

Notifications

Push Notifications

If you allow notifications:

  • "Order confirmed"

  • "Your order is being prepared"

  • "Your order is ready!"

  • "Order delivered"

SMS Notifications

For pickup/delivery orders:

  • Order confirmation text

  • Ready for pickup notification

  • Out for delivery update

  • Delivered confirmation

Call Waiter

Need assistance at your table?

Step 1: Tap Contact or Call Waiter on your screen

Step 2: Select reason for calling:

  • General assistance

  • Help with bill

  • Request check

  • Other

Step 3: Staff receives notification

Step 4: Waiter comes to your table

Call Waiter Cooldown

To prevent spam:

  • 5-minute wait between calls

  • Timer shows when you can call again

  • Use for genuine assistance needs

Estimated Time

The system shows estimated completion:

  • Based on kitchen capacity

  • Considers current queue

  • Updates as order progresses

  • May adjust in real-time
