Authentication & Security

Authentication & Security settings control how users log in to the Partner Portal and related systems. This includes enabling two-factor authentication (2FA), setting password requirements, managing session timeouts, and other measures to protect against unauthorized access.

Accessing Authentication Settings

Step 1: Go to Settings in the sidebar.

Step 2: Select Authentication or the Security/Authentication section.

Configuring Security Options

Step 1: Enable 2FA for users or roles.

Step 2: Set password policies:

  • Minimum length

  • Complexity requirements

  • Expiration periods

Step 3: Configure session settings (timeout, concurrent logins).

Step 4: Enable or disable login methods (email/password, SSO if available).

Step 5: Save settings.

Best Practices

  • Enforce 2FA for all admin and owner accounts.

  • Regularly review login logs for suspicious activity.

  • Educate users on security best practices.

  • Update policies as threats evolve.
