Sales Reports
The Sales Report gives you a deep dive into your revenue performance. Use it to understand trends, compare periods, break down by payment method or order type, and export data for accounting or deeper analysis.
Accessing Sales Reports
Step 1: In the sidebar, go to Reports & Analytics (or Reports).
Step 2: Click Sales Reports (or the Sales & Compliance entry depending on your shop configuration).
The report loads with data for the default or last-selected period.
Choosing the Time Period
Step 1: Use the date range selector at the top.
Step 2: Select a preset (Today, This Week, This Month, Last 3 Months, etc.) or set a custom range.
Step 3: The report updates automatically with the new period.
All totals, breakdowns, and charts refresh for the selected dates.
What the Report Shows
Key Metrics
Total Revenue — Gross sales for the period (before/after tax depending on view)
Number of Orders — Count of completed orders
Average Order Value (AOV)
Breakdowns by:
Payment method (Card, Cash, etc.)
Order type (Delivery, Pickup, Dine-in)
Channel (Online, POS, etc.)
Charts and Tables
Revenue over time (daily/weekly trend)
Top payment methods pie or bar
Order type distribution
Detailed table with per-day or per-category rows (depending on view)
Use the tabs or filters inside the report to switch between summary and detailed table views.
Filtering and Grouping
Filter by specific payment methods or order types.
Group results by day, week, or channel.
Search or sort the detailed table.
These controls help you isolate e.g. "only card sales last month" or "dine-in performance this week".
Exporting Data
Step 1: Click the Export button (usually CSV or Excel).
Step 2: Choose the format and any additional options (include tax breakdown, etc.).
Step 3: Download the file.
The export contains the same data you see on screen and is useful for your accountant, for importing into other tools, or for custom analysis.
Common Use Cases
Compare this month vs last month performance.
Identify which payment method drives the most revenue.
Spot seasonal patterns in the trend chart.
Prepare data for tax filing or investor updates.
Best Practices
Always note the exact date range when sharing numbers.
Export regularly if you need historical snapshots (the report is always live for the selected period).
Cross-reference with the main Dashboard for high-level KPIs and the full Reports overview for other metrics (transactions, item sales, etc.).

_Note: Exact available filters, columns, and export options can vary slightly based on your shop country, enabled report modules, and user permissions. Some advanced breakdowns (e.g. alcohol tax) appear in separate reports for US/TX shops._
Troubleshooting
No data shown? Double-check the date range — very narrow ranges or future dates will be empty.
Export missing columns? The export matches the current view/filters. Broaden the view first if needed.
Numbers don't match Dashboard? Dashboard often shows different periods or includes/excludes certain fees/taxes. Use the exact same date range and read the report description.
