Loyalty Programs

Loyalty programs reward repeat customers with points they can redeem for free items, discounts, or other perks. A well-tuned loyalty program is one of the best long-term retention tools.

Accessing Loyalty

Step 1: Go to Marketing in the sidebar.

Step 2: Select the Loyalty tab or section.

Setting Up or Editing the Program

Step 1: Click Edit Program or Configure Loyalty.

Step 2: Configure earning rules:

  • Points per currency unit spent (e.g. 1 point per €1)

  • Bonus points for first order

  • Double points days or promotions

  • Points for specific actions (e.g. writing a review)

Step 3: Configure redemption:

  • Points required for each reward tier

  • Reward value (discount amount or free item)

  • Redemption limits (per customer, per period)

  • Minimum points balance

Step 4: Set program visibility and terms.

Step 5: Save and publish.

Tracking Performance

  • View total members, points issued, points redeemed, and revenue from loyalty orders.

  • Identify top loyal customers.

  • Export data for deeper analysis.

Best Practices

  • Make earning simple and generous enough to feel rewarding.

  • Offer meaningful redemptions that drive incremental spend.

  • Promote the program at checkout, in receipts, and via campaigns.

  • Run limited-time double points or bonus events to reactivate members.

  • Monitor breakage (unredeemed points) for accounting.

_Note: Loyalty features and exact configuration options depend on your plan and enabled marketing modules. Some setups support tiered programs or integration with external loyalty providers._

Loyalty works best when combined with good offers and automated win-back campaigns. Start simple, measure repeat rate and average order value lift, then iterate.
