Payment Processing
Fleksa POS supports multiple payment methods including cash, card (EC Cash), QR payments, and gift cards. You can also split bills between guests.
Payment Screen Overview
The payment screen shows:
Left side: Order summary with items, tax, and total
Right side: Payment options and methods
Bottom: Additional options (discounts, tips, gift cards)
Payment Options
Three main payment modes:
Mode | Use Case |
Pay Full Amount | Single payment for entire bill |
Itemized Pay | Select specific items to pay |
Split Evenly | Divide bill equally between guests |
Pay Full Amount
Step 1: Tap Pay Full Amount (selected by default)
Step 2: Review the order summary on the left:
Items with prices
Net amount
Tax (19% or applicable rate)
Total to pay
Step 3: Select payment method (see below)
Step 4: Complete the transaction
Payment Methods
Cash Payment
Step 1: Tap Cash from the payment methods
Step 2: Enter the amount received from customer
Step 3: The system calculates change automatically
Step 4: Tap Complete to finish
Card Payment (EC Cash)
Step 1: Tap EC Cash from the payment methods
Step 2: The terminal activates for card payment
Step 3: Customer inserts/taps their card
Step 4: Wait for terminal confirmation
Step 5: Payment completes automatically
QR Pay
Step 1: Tap QR pay from the payment methods
Step 2: A QR code displays on screen
Step 3: Customer scans with their phone
Step 4: They complete payment on their device
Step 5: POS updates when payment received
Itemized Payment
Use this when guests want to pay for specific items only.
Step 1: Tap Itemized Pay at the top
Step 2: The item list becomes selectable
Step 3: Tap items the guest is paying for
Step 4: Selected items show the subtotal
Step 5: Complete payment for selected items
Step 6: Remaining items stay on the bill
Split Evenly
For groups splitting the bill equally.
Step 1: Tap Split Evenly at the top
Step 2: Enter the number of people splitting
Step 3: The system calculates each person's share
Step 4: Process payment for each person one at a time
Step 5: Track who has paid and who hasn't
Additional Options
Adding Discounts
Step 1: Tap Discounts at the bottom
Step 2: Enter percentage or fixed amount
Step 3: The total updates automatically
Adding Tips
Step 1: Tap Add Tip at the bottom
Step 2: Enter tip amount
Step 3: Tip is added to the total
Gift Card Payment
Step 1: Tap Gift Card at the bottom
Step 2: Scan or enter the gift card code
Step 3: Available balance applies to the order
Step 4: Pay remaining balance with another method if needed
Partial Payment
When a guest pays part of the bill:
The paid amount shows as completed
Remaining balance displays clearly
Continue with additional payments until fully paid
Payment Status
Track payment status:
Status | Meaning |
Not Paid | No payment received yet |
Partial | Some items/amount paid |
Pending | Payment processing |
Paid | Fully paid |
Payment Completed
After successful payment:
Step 1: Confirmation screen displays
Step 2: Option to print receipt
Step 3: Tap Home to return to table view
Step 4: Table is freed for next guests
Tips for Smooth Payments
Verify totals before processing
Confirm payment method with guest first
Keep terminal charged for card payments
Have cash drawer ready for change
Print receipts when requested
