Orders
The POS handles three order types: Dine-In, Pickup, and Delivery. Each has a streamlined workflow for fast service.
Order Types Overview
Type | Use Case | Flow |
Dine-In | Guests eating at tables | Select table → Add items → Pay |
Pickup | Customer collects order | Create order → Add items → Set pickup time → Pay |
Delivery | Order delivered to customer | Create order → Add items → Enter address → Pay |
Creating a Pickup Order
Step 1: Tap the Pickup tab at the top of the screen
Step 2: Tap Create Pickup Order or the + button
Step 3: You'll be taken to the menu screen
Adding Items
Step 4: Browse categories and tap items to add them
Step 5: Select any required options (size, add-ons)
Step 6: Review your cart on the right side
Cart Summary
Step 7: Verify items and quantities in the cart
Step 8: Adjust quantities using +/- buttons if needed
Step 9: Tap Pay when ready to checkout
Processing Payment
Step 10: Select payment method
Step 11: Complete the transaction
Step 12: Print receipt for customer
Viewing Pickup Orders
All pickup orders appear in a list showing:
Order number / Kitchen number
Customer name (if provided)
Order total
Status (Pending, Ready, etc.)
Tap any order to view details or modify.
Creating a Delivery Order
Step 1: Tap the Delivery tab at the top
Step 2: Tap Create Delivery Order
Step 3: Add items from the menu
Customer Information
Step 4: Enter customer details:
Name
Phone number
Delivery address
Step 5: Set delivery time if not immediate
Order Confirmation
Step 6: Review the complete order
Step 7: Verify delivery address is correct
Step 8: Confirm to create the order
Order Created
Step 9: Order is created and sent to kitchen
Step 10: Order appears in the delivery queue
The kitchen receives the order automatically.
Viewing Delivery Orders
The delivery tab shows all delivery orders:
Pending orders waiting for preparation
In-progress orders being made
Ready orders waiting for driver
Completed deliveries
Order Details
Tap any order to see full details:
All items with quantities and prices
Customer contact information
Delivery address
Order timeline
Payment status
Order Status Flow
Orders progress through these stages:

PENDING → IN_PROGRESS → READY → COMPLETED
→ ON_THE_WAY (delivery)
→ CANCELLED

Pending - Order received, waiting for kitchen
In Progress - Kitchen is preparing the order
Ready - Order complete, waiting for pickup/delivery
On The Way - Driver has the order (delivery only)
Completed - Order fulfilled and closed
Dine-In Orders
Dine-in orders work differently:
Step 1: Select a table from the floor plan
Step 2: Add items to the order
Step 3: Send to kitchen with KT Print
Step 4: Add more items as guests order
Step 5: Complete payment when guests finish
Tables can have running tabs that stay open during the meal.
Tips for Efficient Order Management
Pickup Orders:
Confirm pickup time with customer
Mark orders ready when prepared
Use customer name for identification
Delivery Orders:
Double-check addresses before confirming
Note any special delivery instructions
Track driver assignment
Dine-In Orders:
Keep table tabs open for additional orders
Use course numbers for multi-course meals
Close tabs promptly after payment
