Secure your POS when unattended:

This prevents unauthorized access during breaks.

Network Settings

Ensure stable connectivity:

  • WiFi - Connect to your restaurant network

  • Ethernet - Use wired connection if available

  • Offline Mode - Continue working without internet

The POS queues orders when offline and syncs when reconnected.

Device Performance

Optimize POS performance:

Clear Cache:

  • Removes temporary data

  • Frees up storage

  • May improve speed

Update App:

  • Install latest version

  • Get new features

  • Fix known issues

Multi-Device Setup

For restaurants with multiple POS devices:

Step 1: Install Fleksa POS on each device

Step 2: Login with same restaurant account

Step 3: Give each device a unique name

Step 4: Assign devices to areas (Counter, Bar, Patio)

All devices share:

  • Menu and prices

  • Orders and payments

  • Table status

  • Customer data

Device Registration

Register new devices in Partner Portal:

Step 1: Go to Partner Portal > POS Devices

Step 2: Generate a pairing code

Step 3: Enter code on new POS device

Step 4: Device links to your account

See POS Device Management for details.

Troubleshooting

Device Running Slow:

  1. Clear app cache

  2. Close background apps

  3. Restart the device

  4. Check storage space

Connection Issues:

  1. Verify WiFi connection

  2. Check network stability

  3. Try reconnecting

  4. Use offline mode temporarily

Peripheral Not Working:

  1. Check physical connections

  2. Verify device is powered

  3. Re-pair Bluetooth devices

  4. Update firmware if available

Best Practices

  • Name devices clearly - "Counter 1" not "POS"

  • Keep software updated - Enable auto-updates

  • Regular restarts - Daily restart improves stability

  • Backup settings - Document configurations

  • Test peripherals - Verify before service
