Supported Printer Connections

  • USB - Direct connection to POS device

  • Network/WiFi - Wireless printing over local network

  • Bluetooth - Portable printer connection

  • Sunmi Built-in - Integrated printer on Sunmi devices

Configuring a Printer

Step 1: Go to Settings from the left sidebar

Step 2: Select Printer Settings

Step 3: Tap Add Printer or select existing printer

Step 4: Choose connection type (USB, Network, Bluetooth)

Step 5: Enter printer details:

  • Printer name

  • IP address (for network printers)

  • Paper width (58mm or 80mm)

Step 6: Test print to verify connection

Kitchen Printing (KT Print)

Send orders to the kitchen with one tap:

Step 1: Add items to an order

Step 2: Tap KT Print button

Step 3: Ticket prints in the kitchen

Kitchen tickets show:

  • Order number

  • Table number (for dine-in)

  • Items with quantities

  • Modifications and special requests

  • Time stamp

Receipt Printing

Print customer receipts at checkout:

Step 1: Complete the payment

Step 2: Tap Print Receipt when prompted

Step 3: Receipt prints automatically

Receipts include:

  • Restaurant name and address

  • Order items with prices

  • Tax breakdown

  • Total paid

  • Payment method

  • Date and time

  • TSS/QR code (for German compliance)

Multiple Kitchen Printers

Route items to different stations:

Setup:

  1. Configure printer for each station (Kitchen, Bar, etc.)

  2. Assign menu categories to printers

  3. Food items → Kitchen printer

  4. Drinks → Bar printer

How It Works:

  • When order contains mixed items

  • Each item prints at its assigned station

  • Kitchen gets food items

  • Bar gets drink items

Bluetooth Printer Setup

For portable receipt printers:

Step 1: Turn on the Bluetooth printer

Step 2: Go to Settings > Printer Settings

Step 3: Select Bluetooth connection type

Step 4: Scan for available devices

Step 5: Pair with your printer

Step 6: Test print to confirm

Troubleshooting

Printer Not Found:

  • Check power and connections

  • Verify network/Bluetooth is enabled

  • Restart printer and POS

  • Re-configure printer settings

Print Quality Issues:

  • Clean printer head

  • Replace paper roll

  • Check paper alignment

  • Adjust print density in settings

Missing Items on Ticket:

  • Verify category-to-printer assignment

  • Check if items were added to order

  • Review printer routing settings

Best Practices

Kitchen Efficiency:

  • Use large font for kitchen tickets

  • Include order number prominently

  • Print modifications in bold

  • Consider ticket colors for order types

Receipt Quality:

  • Use thermal paper rated for your printer

  • Replace paper before it runs out

  • Keep printer clean for clear prints

  • Store paper away from heat
