Manage all kiosk settings remotely from Partner Portal. Register devices, configure menus, customize appearance, and monitor status.

Initial Kiosk Setup

Install hardware

Set up the screen, payment terminal, and receipt printer.

Connect to network

WiFi or ethernet. Ethernet is recommended for reliability.

Open the kiosk URL

Navigate to your kiosk domain in the browser.

Log in with admin credentials

Use your Partner Portal manager or admin account.

Register the device

The device is assigned to your restaurant and appears in Partner Portal.

Configure settings

Set up menu, payment, appearance, and language options (see sections below).

Device Registration

In Partner Portal, go to Devices → Kiosks

Click "Add Kiosk"

Enter a clear name (e.g., "Entrance Kiosk 1", "Food Court Kiosk A").

Note the registration code

Enter the code on the kiosk device

The device links to your restaurant and syncs configuration.

Menu Settings

A kiosk-specific menu lets you offer a simplified selection on self-service kiosks while keeping your full menu on the POS and website.

Kiosk Status

Status

Meaning

Green — Online

Connected, ready for customers

Yellow — Busy

Customer is actively ordering

Red — Offline

Not connected to network

Lock — Locked

Admin-locked, showing "Out of Service"

Managing Multiple Kiosks

Naming Convention

Use clear, descriptive names:

  • "Entrance Kiosk 1", "Entrance Kiosk 2"

  • "Food Court Kiosk A"

  • "Drive-Thru Kiosk"

Per-Kiosk Settings

Each kiosk can have different configurations:

  • Different menus (e.g., breakfast-only kiosk)

  • Different default languages

  • Different payment terminals

Bulk Actions

Select multiple kiosks to:

  • Push updates to all at once

  • Change shared settings

  • Restart all devices

Lock Mode

Lock a kiosk when it's not in use:

  1. Partner Portal → Devices → Select kiosk

  2. Click Lock Mode

  3. Kiosk displays "Out of Service" message

  4. Unlock when ready to resume

Use for: staff meetings, maintenance, cleaning, end of shift.

A locked kiosk still appears powered on. Customers can see the "Out of Service" screen. For extended downtime, consider powering off the device entirely.

Kiosk Offline

Check WiFi/ethernet connection

Software crashed

Restart the device

Settings Not Applying

Wait a few minutes or click "Force Sync"

Cache issue

Clear kiosk cache (restart browser)

Incorrect setting

Double-check the value in Partner Portal

Can't Register Device

Registration code expired

Generate a new code in Partner Portal

Wrong restaurant account

Verify you're logged into the correct account

Network blocked

Ensure the kiosk domain is not blocked by your firewall
